Liquid footprints is a small family business based in Dingwall, offering incredible bespoke outdoor experiences on the North Coast 500. With their wealth of local knowledge, they are able to open the door to some of the most un-spoilt areas of the Highlands.
Sea Kayaking and Sailing Holiday
This four-day journey will see you exploring some of the most stunning Scottish scenery anywhere in Scotland. There will be an abundance of wildlife to view and you will get the chance to see and explore parts of the coastline that only those traveling by sea can.
Each day you will get the opportunity to sea kayak in some of the most remote and breath-taking environments Scotland has to offer whilst enjoying the comfort of being based on board MV Monadhliath. Our home from home the Monadhliath, offers comfortable private twin rooms along with a drying room and a comfortable salon. All meals are included and prepared by the crew of the boat, giving you the time to relax and enjoy your holiday.

Suilven Expedition
This iconic mountain located in the remote Highlands on the NC500 is a must for all those looking for an amazing adventure. This all-inclusive Suilven three day journey will see you not only climbing to the top of Suilven but also canoeing on the serene Loch Veyatie to a remote campsite. No prior canoeing experience is needed just a general level of fitness is perfect for this trip.
Liquid Footprints’ Suilven journey will begin at their store near Dingwall, collection is also available from Inverness, Inverness airport and train station. After meeting up you will then hop in their minibus and up into the Highlands along the NC500. After a stunning drive you will arrive in the small village of Elphin where you unload all your equipment and spend time getting packed. It is then a short walk down the hill rolling the canoes on the trolleys to the stunning shores of Loch Veyatie, where you will spend as much time as needed getting to understand your canoe and how to pilot it before heading out onto the loch and paddling to your first night’s camp.

Who can go?
We are happy for anyone from the age of 12 upwards to join us. You do not need to have canoed before and many people who join us have never canoed before. So,e experience of hill walking would be good but you do not need to be a mountain goat.

Women Specific Sea Kayak Safety and Rescue Course
The Women Specific Sea Kayak Safety and Rescue single day course is ideal for those female kayakers who are now starting to stretch themselves in their kayaking adventures. This course will give you the opportunity to either learn or develop your rescue skills and hone those decision-making process that will help you not only keep yourself safe but also those in your group.
Throughout the entire course you will be led by one of Liquid Footprints fully qualified and experienced associated female instructors. You will get the chance to develop your rescue skills, including deep water rescues, as well as towing skills in calm and ruff water. You will also cover essential skills such as how to use a VHF radio and you will even get a chance to use a flare.

Women Specific Sea Kayak Confidence Booster Course
This weekend Women Specific Sea Kayak Confidence Booster course is ideal for those ladies who are looking to push themselves onto the next level of sea kayaking. You will re-visit all the essentials that you may have learnt on previous courses and get the chance to polish these skills up.
You will also be introduced to some new skills and techniques that you may not have covered before. Liquid Footprints will take you out into those rougher seas that you may currently not be confident in and will not only show how to manage this environment but how to thrive in it and most importantly enjoy it.
This all-women’s course will be led by their fully qualified associated female instructor. The course will give you a chance to develop specific areas of your sea kayaking skills that you want to develop whilst being immersed in the stunning scenery of the Highlands.
