Wildland is a 200-year vision of landscape-scale conservation in the Scottish Highlands. Through our custodianship of three significant Scottish estates, we work to let nature heal, grow, and thrive.
The Highlands of Scotland are home to some of Europe’s most majestic and wild landscapes. However, much of the land stands denuded after centuries of deforestation and other practices. Our commitment is to create the right conditions for this land to heal itself; to allow native forests to regenerate, peatland to flourish, and wildlife to return. A richer, more balanced eco-system will mean a healthier landscape for our neighbours and the communities around us – a treasure to pass on to future generations.
Much is said about the restorative power of nature. For our team at Wildland, this isn’t something we take lightly, it’s in fact a way of daily life. We have created a collection of beautiful, warm, and welcoming places to stay and explore the wild landscape around us. From our Art House on the brooding seas of the north coast, to cosy cottages nestled among ancient forests of the Cairngorms, Wildland offers a range of places to stay and experience this special part of the world from. By joining us as a guest at a Wildland property, you are directly contributing to this mission.
