The Torridon Resort, situated in the wild landscape of North West Scotland, is where luxury, adventure and hospitality combine for an unforgettable experience.
Hotel
Set in 58 acres of private parkland, the main house was built in 1887 as a Highland shooting lodge and enjoys a spectacular location at the head of Loch Torridon. All 18 luxurious bedrooms are individually designed with a mix of the contemporary and traditional furnishings and have spectacular views across the loch to the Torridon mountains.
The hotel is in one of the most romantic locations in the country and is the ideal venue for a couple’s break, honeymoon or wedding.
The Stables
The Stables lies adjacent to the hotel and has 12 bedrooms that are simple and cosy, with some rooms overlooking the cows in The Torridon Farm. For couples, families or groups of friends who love outdoor activities and want to just kick off their muddy boots, have a bath and flop into bed at the end of an adventurous day in the Highlands, The Stables are perfect.
Boat House
The Boat House offers two-bedroom self-catering accommodation.
Inside it’s tastefully furnished and decorated in a modern contemporary style. The solid maple floors, reclaimed from the old resort buttery, add warmth and charm to an old converted boat shed that has been a family home in the past and now offers people the best in self-catering luxury.
Food and Drink
Following a redesign in February 2020, 1887 exudes contemporary elegance. The menu introduces innovative cuisine prepared with fresh produce from The Torridon Farm, Kitchen Garden and surrounding land and lochs.
Chef Paul Green creates seasonally inspired dishes in the 1887 Restaurant, making outstanding use of the best local produce, including our own Highland beef and Tamworth pigs, as well as an abundance of herbs, fruit and vegetables from our two-acre kitchen garden.
If you are looking for something more casual, Bo&Muc offers an alternative relaxed dining experience serving wholesome family-friendly fare and a choice of Scottish ales in the Beinn Bar.
Our award-winning whisky bar features more than 365 whiskies and a range of over 120 premium gins, including our own Arcturus gin.
Torridon Outdoors
We now offer equipment hire which is available from the Torridon Outdoors office.
Wetsuit hire
Wild swimming is increasingly popular, with a range of health benefits. We offer wetsuit hire at our Torridon Outdoors office.
