The Old School Beauly is an award-winning lifestyle shop, specialising in clothing, gifts and homewares which are unique. Based in a beautiful old Victorian School building, each classroom has been lovingly renovated and now showcases the very best of Highland retail.
The Old School is known locally for its own label Candles and Reed Diffusers which are hand poured and reflect a love of Scotland. Their best selling ranges include The Black Isle and The Glen Affric, The Cromarty and Highland Velvet candles. Come and smell the whole collection and take home the scents of The Highlands with you!
The Old School is also the exclusive stockist of a new range of Scottish woollen scarves, fingerless mittens, gloves and hats. The inspiration for the colours and patterns has come from favourite locations in The Highlands. The Beauly hat and scarf set is a best seller, closely followed by The Wee Nessie and Inverness Sunset. Come and see the whole collection and treat yourself to a treasured piece made right here in Scotland.
It is recommended that you allocate a good hour to see the whole building. The Homewares Room is a cutting edge mix of “Highland meets Scandinavian” with an ever-changing offering of locally made ceramics and textiles. The Children’s Room will keep the wee ones amused with lots of thoughtful gifts, books galore and special clothing. There is a dedicated Book & Stationery Room, specialising in Scottish interest and always offering the latest in North Coast 500 publications.
The Old School also specialises in Ladies Clothing collections, stocking big brands such as Two Danes, Masai and Part Two. There is a large Wellbeing section with key Scottish labels such as Scottish Fine Soaps and Arran Aromatics and a large offering of Scottish jewellery, now showcasing the best of Scottish designers.
There is a large free car park area for customers. Open 7 days a week and renowned for a warm Highland welcome.
