Our Local Larder is an extensive online directory that will help you find and celebrate the local food and drink that is produced, sold or served on the Black Isle.
We are spoiled for choice when it comes to fresh, seasonal food, with a wealth of local producers as well as shops, community markets, cafes, pubs and restaurants.
From locally grown fruit and vegetables and fresh fish, to locally produced meat, cheese and dairy products, not to mention home baking and chocolate, Our Local Larder will help you find everything the Black Isle has to offer. Our Local Larder has been produced by Transition Black Isle . We are a voluntary community organisation whose goal is to make the Black Isle a better and more sustainable place to live. We are passionate about making local food readily available – building pride in our local produce, increasing our resilience to global shocks, keeping more of our money in the local economy, building trust in local growers and reducing our carbon footprint. All businesses are included in the directory free of charge
