About Invershin Hotel Bunkhouse & Bar
A relaxed, informal, family run hotel and bunkhouse situated on the Kyle of Sutherland, 5 minutes drive from the famous Fall of Shin where you can see the leaping salmon. A great base to explore the north, east and west coasts. We have 6 ensuite bedrooms and a 10 bed bunkhouse (which is within the hotel) so are able to accommodate larger groups. As well as our spacious reception lounge, we have a pool table and a fantastic traditional highland bar, where guests can enjoy a wee dram or a cask ale in front of our real fire. We also have regular music sessions throughout the summer.
Take a walk over the Kyle across the railway bridge path and enjoy some beautiful forest walks and see the historic Carbisdale Castle known as the Castle of Spite. There are also 2 mountain bike trails beside the hotel. Bikers, car enthusiasts, cyclists, walkers, munro baggers, families, solo travellers, adventure seekers….whatever you’re doing on the NC500, make sure you spend a night or two or three with us! We are always on hand to advise our guests on some of the best and most beautiful places to visit whilst you are here.
