Glenmorangie Distillery Visitor Centre
Amidst the golden barley fields of Ross-shire, and on the banks of the Dornoch firth, lies the Glenmorangie Distillery. Here you will find a warm Highland welcome from the legendary Men of Tain, the skilled craftsmen who ensure that Glenmorangie is created in the same unhurried and uncompromising way it has always been since 1843.
Our tours offer an unparalleled insight into the Glenmorangie Distillery. Accompanied by our expert guides, you will journey through all stages of our award-winning whisky creation, from mashing and fermenting to distilling and maturation.
Pre-booking your tour is highly recommended online via our website.
THE ORIGINAL TOUR
You will discover the essence of our craft as you tour the Distillery, exploring our signature expression, Glenmorangie Original. Created from our refined spirit, matured for at least ten years in carefully selected ex-bourbon oak casks, it is a deliciously smooth and rounded whisky. Although some other distilleries may fill casks many times, you will learn how we only ever use ours twice to create The Original. And so, we ensure that their fullest depths of flavour enrich our flagship single malt. Of course, as we reveal the mastery required to perfect this complex whisky, we will invite you to taste its award-winning character for yourself.
THE SIGNET TOUR
For those curious to learn more about our fine single malt whisky, this leisurely tour of the Distillery culminates in our Signet Room. There, you will sample the singular smoothness of Glenmorangie Original as well as our latest Glenmorangie Private Edition before enjoying an intriguing sonic tasting of Glenmorangie Signet – one of our rarest expressions and undoubtedly the richest whisky in our range. This immersive experience will heighten your senses to bring alive the rich, dark layers of an exquisite whisky inspired by our innovative ‘chocolate’ roasted barley malt and composed of an extraordinarily sophisticated assemblage of casks.
