Our independent, owner-operated and award-winning hotel is nestled on the coast of North West Sutherland between the communities of Kylesku and Scourie. From Inverness the hotel is about halfway round the North Coast 500 route, 40 miles North of Ullapool, surrounded by wonderful sea and mountain views. It is a perfect setting for those who want to escape urban life, an opportunity to enjoy walking, bird watching, boat trips, exploring beaches and touring the extraordinary North West Highlands UNESCO Geopark.
The hotel is in a listed historic building, a former manse with traditional Scottish crow stepped gables. The grounds lead directly to the shore with well placed benches from which to enjoy the beautiful sea views and the tranquil setting. The ten comfortable ensuite bedrooms are suitable for up to two people sharing and some are dog friendly. Four bedrooms also offer step-free access. Our chefs showcase Scottish ingredients and produce in our restaurant and the hotel bar in the Colonel’s Lounge features over 60 malt whiskies, aperitifs, digestifs, craft beers and a quality wine list. Parking at Eddrachilles is discrete and well off-street, much appreciated by drivers of high performance or vintage cars.
At Eddrachilles we proudly maintain the generous traditions of Highland hospitality and good service. There’s complimentary tea or coffee with cake and scones each afternoon in the sun lounge. There are binoculars and maps to borrow, we will fill your flask with a hot beverage, and offer a snack box before you venture out, all without additional charge. We also offer discounts for multi-night stays in every room on every night of our season.
