A very warm welcome to the award winning Clachtoll Beach Campsite.
We are situated some 150m away through the dunes from the gently sloping safe white sands of Clachtoll Beach and are a family friendly campsite situated directly on the North Coast 500 route. All of our pitches are either grass or astro turf and we offer serviced (water and electric on every pitch) and unserviced pitches taking tents, caravans, motorhomes, and roof top tents. Single travellers, cyclists and backpackers are also very welcome. Very dog friendly we have a variety of stunning walks and activities at the campsite and nearby and is as easy to be active as it is restful. The easy walk to the recently excavated Clachtoll Broch is a must for many and we sit directly on the North West Highlands whale, dolphin and snorkel trails. All types of Dolphin are seen from the campsite and we have regular visitors of Minke, Orca and sea otters. The scenery is almost indescribable and we overlook the imposing mass of Split Rock and out over the sea to Skye and the islands of Lewis and Harris where we enjoy stunning sunsets. It is a great base to travel north, south and east from. Lochinver is a 10-minute drive away and has a great selection of restaurants and cafes offering all varieties of food, including a butchers, post office, coffee shop, chandlery and more all of which offer great customer service and quality produce. A fresh fish van visits the site once a week selling the absolute best the coast has to offer.
We supply free showers, with toilets and disabled facilities, outside beach shower to wash off those wetsuits, children and dogs! Doggy bar with free treats, coffee machine, small onsite shop, laundry room, kitchen area with free kettles and microwaves, outside seating area, chemical waste and drive over grey water facilities. We only use recyclable products where possible to protect our susceptible environment and have full recycling facilities on site.
