Established in September 2022, 8 Doors Distillery is the most northerly distillery on the UK mainland. A micro whisky distillery, producing the first Single Malt Scotch whisky in the area for over 185 years. Independently owned by locals Kerry and Derek Campbell.
While waiting for our Single Malt to mature we have created the Seven Sons range of whiskies which are small batch, independent bottlings with a hint of what’s to come. We also have our Five Ways blended liqueur made with whisky, orange, ginger, honey and spice…and a striking bottle inspired by the John O’Groats signpost! All available to sample in the distillery shop and lounge area.
Open 7 days a week from 10am for Drams, Coffee, Cake, Wine & Cocktails with a great view.
Distillery Tours available at 12:30am and 3:00pm on selected days. Hear our story, visit the distillery, warehouse and sample some whisky! Book via website.
No time for a tour? Try our self-guided whisky flights in our cosy lounge area. Mini Flight costs £10 or Mega Flight for £20. Just order at the bar.
