Feragaia ‘Scotland’s original free spirit’ – summer cocktails inspired by the North Coast 500
Feragaia and NC500 are introducing a summer cocktail campaign that showcases five cocktails that celebrate the different regions of the NC500 and the Feragaia stockists within them.
The five regions of the route are very different and inspiring to so many, so we asked our partners Feragaia to design a cocktail inspired by each section of the route. Much like each region evokes a different emotion, each cocktail flavour lends a different experience to the palate.
Each region brings something unique to the North Coast 500 route, much like each cocktail brings new and exciting flavours. From Inverness & the Black Isle’s vibrant and exciting urban buzz to rural Sutherland and its scattered fishing communities, fairy tale castles and breathtaking landscapes. Caithness and its rich history, awe-inspiring Easter-ross’ quaint coastal villages and of course majestic Wester-ross with its mighty mountains, hidden lochs and white sandy beaches meeting crystal clear waters.

Feragaia, crafted in Scotland’s first working alcohol-free distillery, is redefining alcohol-free spirits through its original taste and authentically alcohol-free distillation process.
Co-founder Jamie Wild told us “Our bold vision is to build real confidence into alcohol-free drinking by not relying on what we are trying to avoid – alcohol. Feragaia casts aside ‘the crutch’ of alcohol-free drinks with its non-mimicking taste and completely alcohol-free process.”
True to its name, meaning “Wild Earth”, Feragaia aims to reconnect drinkers to wilderness, by harnessing the same unapologetic character as the wild forces of nature that shape our world. The North Coast 500 is a true representation of Scottish wilderness, therefore the perfect inspiration to enable Feragaia to bring to life five special cocktails inspired by the different regions of the route
Distilled from 14 carefully selected botanicals in Fife, Scotland, Feragaia’s sophisticated flavour and defining depth is a journey through Land, Sea and Spice. A vibrance brought by lemon verbena and blackcurrant leaf, sugar kelp seaweed gives body and breadth and pink peppercorn creates a characterful depth.

Unbound by alcohol comparison, Feragaia’s unique flavour is both complex and versatile and this is showcased by these serves that have been developed by our loyal partner bartenders. The selection of drinks show a vast range of taste and each lends a different experience to the palate.
For the next few months a fortnightly cocktail will be posted along with some exciting announcements so keep an eye out for updates.

Similarly, we will be running a range of activities around these different serves, so be sure to stay tuned!
Over the coming weeks, look out for video tutorials on our socials for all the cocktail recipes Feragaia are bringing you. For a full list, visit their stockist page.
