How to equip your car for the winter months and make sure you’re prepared for the road trip ahead.

With the days getting shorter and the weather becoming colder you need to make sure that your car is ready for the winter months ahead. But what will you need, how prepared should you be? Well, there are some items that may seem obvious, however it’s always good to have a reminder about these too. We spoke to Highland Supercars for some handy tips and advice.

Winter is a stunning time of the year in Scotland and the Highlands and you need to get out and explore it. With frosty days and dark nights it’s a great time of year to visit and the roads tend to be quieter too. Just make sure that you follow our tips to ensure you get about safely. For inspiration on what to see and do, find out more here.

Hire a car from Highland Supercars this winter and we will ensure you have a warm blanket, a few snacks and water for your journey. All our cars come with road worth tyres, a full tank of fuel and of course screen wash. We can also advise on where there are fuel stops on your journey.
