Dragon Hunting in the Highlands
There could be dragon living in the Highlands and Winston the Bear needs your help to find it!
Local legend tells of a fiery dragon that once lived in the North, roaming the hills and scaring the townsfolk. The children’s book ‘Winston the Bear and the Dragon of the Black Firs’ follows the story of Winston’s hunt for clues as he searches for this elusive dragon.
Join Winston in his quest and search for clues around the North Coast 500. What proof can you find that the dragon is still in the Highlands? A dragon’s lair, claw marks, dragon scales or maybe even some dragon poop? Whether climbing a Munro, canoeing on a river, making sandcastles on the beach or walking in the woods, keep your eyes peeled, the dragon could be anywhere!
