Experience the Torridon Wilderness!
Torridon Outdoors is one of Scotland’s top multi-activity providers..Find out what the Torridon has to offer!
Torridon Outdoors provide a huge range of outdoor activities to suit everyone from novices to the more experienced adventurers. You might want to get on the water in one of our sea kayaks or explore the mountains either on foot or on a bike.
We offer a complimentary programme of activities for Hotel guests and organise private and bespoke full and half day activities as well. The Inn is also the perfect place to base yourself for some adventures. We also offer mountain bike hire from our fleet which is replaced each year. So, no matter what you want from your time in Torridon, get in touch and see if we can help you get the most of your stay in the Torridon wilderness!
Have a go at Sea Kayaking with us on Upper Loch Torridon. After teaching you some basic skills, our qualified instructors will take you on a journey along the coast, searching for animals such as Seals, Eagles, Oyster Catchers and keep your eyes in the water for jellyfish, star fish and sea urchins – just make sure your boat stays upright! We can organise both half and full day kayak sessions, even for those people who have never kayaked before.
Torridon is known for its steep and technical natural single track, but it also has a lot of great terrain for beginners. We can make a full or half day giving you as much of a challenge as you want. We might not be able to guarantee dry and dusty trails, but we can guarantee you will get to explore some great, remote terrain and (hopefully) get some fantastic views. We can also arrange mountain bike hire so you all you need to bring is yourself!
Explore the infamous Torridon mountains with one of Torridon Outdoor’s qualified guides. We can organise a day for you to match your needs. Whether you’re ready for your first Munro, bagging your last few or just want a day exploring some lesser walked Corbetts we can give you a great experience with our unmatched expertise and local knowledge. https://www.thetorridon.com/adventure/our-activities/mountain-guiding/
For those of you who want to try something a little bit different why not don a wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet and harness and get stuck into our local canyon for some Gorge Scrambling. The canyon we use is only a short walk from the Hotel and once you descend, you need to make your way against the flow of the river, up waterfalls and rapids, as well as a roped climb and an optional jump. We finish at the foot of the Beinn Damph waterfall and then return back to the Hotel feel refreshed and exhilarated!
