Bike the UK for MS
NC500 Cycle Challenge with Bike the UK for MS September 3-10th
Challenge yourself to ride the ultimate coastal adventure, fast becoming the UK’s most popular cycling destination. Join us as we ride the North Coast 500 to support the fight against MS.
The Challenge – 8 Days – Road Cycling
548 miles over 8 days taking in the full loop starting and ending at Inverness Castle. With miles of meandering open roads, white sand beaches and hill top views, the counterclockwise route follows the winding contours of the coast line. Taking in the likes of Easter Ross, Caithness and Wester Ross, you’ll get to see the beauty the Highlands have to offer from the comfort of your saddle!
What to Expect
- An adventure for ALL abilities with no set speeds or set groups to ride with. Take in the scenery en route and engage with the local communities in a way that best suits you!
- With an achievable £1 per mile fundraising target and no additional registration fees, this may just be the most cost effective way to explore the best of the Scottish Highlands.
- As a vehicle supported adventure, where roughing it is embraced, we will arrange the logistics such as overnight accommodation, volunteer route leaders and daily support, leaving you only having to do the leg work on the bike and arranging transport to and from Inverness.
Our Impact
Ride for those that need it most. Whether you have a connection to MS or not, gain a true sense of purpose to the ride by meeting local MS groups en route and hearing their stories. Your hard earned fundraising will support the local groups and many more across the country to fund the likes of treatment for those living with MS, mobility grants to maintain independence and transport to reduce isolation. Help us stop MS by supporting research projects to find a cure!
Who are we?
We are a community of inspired individuals, from all backgrounds, ages, and cycling abilities. We are commuters, weekend warriors, seasoned bikepackers, racers, and fresh-off-the-training-wheels-just-got-a-bike-for-the trip riders.
We come together for a common purpose: to raise funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis research, volunteer our time, and make a positive impact on the lives of those living with MS.
