Providing luxurious accommodation and expansive, uninterrupted views of the Pentland Firth to the Orkney Islands, each of our super-king rooms is spacious and thoughtfully furnished, with large private bathrooms including a separate ‘feature’ bath and power shower.
We want you to feel ‘at home’ at Mey House and provide a beautiful breakfast room with panoramic views, a full hospitality tray including a Nespresso machine for coffee lovers in each room and a Smart TV for entertainment – if the views do not suffice!
Although we do not provide evening meals, we can recommend a number of local restaurants and are a licensed premises for guests, providing a range of local and international drinks to be enjoyed whilst looking out to Dunnet Head, Orkney and our neighbour, The Castle of Mey.
Mey House has been accredited by Visit Scotland with a ‘5 star Gold’ rating and a ‘Taste Our Best’ quality award, and is a member of their ‘Classic Cars Welcome’ Scheme. Our North Coast Explorer tours were launched in 2018 being available only to guests staying at our 5 star B&B – Mey House. However, we have now broadened the availability to all travellers on the NC500 and designed tailor made tours around the iconic NC500 route and its hinterland.
