The Highland Haven

The Highland Haven is a wonderful new, unique accommodation provider on the NC500 route. Our stunning location, just off the A836 between Thurso and John O’Groats, commands amazing views over to Dunnet Head and Orkney. Gills Ferry is a 5 minute drive away.

The Highland Haven is a converted farm building with a nod to Scandinavian design and a big dose of Highland hospitality. We have two bunk rooms each with en-suite shower facilities. The Barn sleeps 6 guests and The Burrow sleeps 4, in our bespoke bunk pods.

A large, bright communal kitchen, living and dining area centres around our cosy wood burner, making it the perfect place to cook, eat and relax. We have a secure bike shed, private parking, laundry facilities and a Scandi-inspired breakfast is included.

Some of Caithness’ hidden treasures are right on our doorstep, the old harbour at St.Johns and the beautifully tranquil’ Scotland’s Haven’ both wildlife sanctuaries. The Highland Haven is the perfect place for individuals or groups, B&B (Bunk &Breakfast) or self- catering, who want a completely switched off experience. It’s the ultimate Highland Haven.
